Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral sedation is typically administered in the form of a single pill that’s usually Valium or Halcion. You’ll take it before your appointment, allowing you to arrive feeling more at-ease and comfortable than you typically would. This sedation method is ideal for those with mild to moderate dental phobia or anxiety.
IV Sedation
IV sedation involves directly administering the medication into the bloodstream for fast-acting effects. This is ideal for patients requiring more complex or lengthier procedures, as well as those with severe dental phobia. Nitrous Oxide
